Phra Ae

Phra Ae, also called Long Beach is situated in the north of the island, 5km south of Ban Sala Dan Village, the main tourist center of Ko Lanta. The beach is about 4km long and has fine white sand and plenty of swimming opportunities.

There is a wide range of accommodation that suit all budgets. Phra Ae is one of the more developed beaches with different shops, bars and restaurants. But due its length it is never overrun and you will always find a peaceful, quiet place.

Phra Ae is very popular with families and you can find many resorts with children-friendly facilities. The beach is sloping down very gently, waves are small and the tide is coming in gradually. This make the beach very suitable for children.
