Kantiang Bay View Resort is an inexpensive, backpacker-style resort located directly on the beach in Kantiang Bay, Ko Lanta, Thailand. It provides 16 large, air-conditioned rooms and 4 small, bamboo rooms with a fan. All rooms are en-suite and most bungalows are situated on the beach.
The popular Why Not Bar sits on the beach in front of the resort where there’s a live band that plays every night during the high season and the regular fireshows on the beach are pretty impressive.
You can arrange and book day trips, excursions and onward travel from the resort tour office. The resort also run their own Longtail snorkelling tours which people join from all over the island. Don’t miss the cheap massage service on the beach where you can enjoy a relaxing massage whilst listening to the waves lapping on the beach and feeling the cool coastal breeze.
Kantiang Bay View is the cheapest beach-side accommodation in the bay and, despite the staff having a reputation for being a little abrupt at times, travellers continue to return time and time again and the resort is regularly fully booked, all year round.
